Y'see, sometimes, when you start a comic, you're not really sure how the book is gonna turn out. Is it fun enough? Is it cool enough? Does enough interesting stuff happen? Do I have any skill at all or am I just a huge old ridiculous hack with no business making comics? All of these go through a person's head as they barrel madly through a new comic.
And then, then, you have a page, where a New Wave Spacegod Robotman floats around in space with a Humongous Gun that he made from an enemy Spaceship, using his super cosmic robot powers.
And you realize that you've made something Beautiful and that all is right in the Universe. I love comix.
