Still No Time

Welp, today is Jack Kirby's birthday, and I don't really have time to celebrate.  Still a month ago I worked up some Jack Kirby Tribute Pieces, so I might as well post those here today.

This is my version of Kirby's famous cover to Amazing Fantasy #15.

And my version of Fantastic Four #1.

I'm trying to post these to my Patreon as well, but for some reason I can't post things on Patreon lately.  Not sure what that's about.  It's pretty freaking annoying, and it's got me rethinking that whole system.

Anyway, next week is my Art Show at the Pique Gallery in Cincinnati, so I've spent all week getting ready for it.  Info on the show can be found at http://www.piquewebsite.com/#!video/c65q

Yep.  The image still hasn't loaded to Patreon.  Might need to contact somebody about that.

No Time

Holy Crap!  What happened to August?  Time is moving so fast lately!  Anyway, I think this is Jack Kirby week.  Hopefully I can do something for it before the end of the week!

First off, longtime friend of TORC Press, Bruce Rosenberger mentioned TORC Press in his KomicsKast Podcast.  Here's the Link so you can give it a listen:  http://www.komicskast.com/2015/08/19/komicskast-dog-days-16-small-press-indie-creators/

My Comics Soul Brother, Clint Basinger of Cosmic Moustache Comics, and I are doing a Gallery Show.  This is my first ever Gallery Show (well, not counting the one I did at my house that one time), so I'm really excited.  I've been working really hard on a series of paintings for the show, which are Jam Paintings with Clint.  I've been posting snapshots on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, so if you're following me on any of that stuff, you've probably seen some of it.

Anyway, here's the Press Release on the Show:

The Hot Fudge Sundae Adventure Club #3 Now Available!

So, if you're not into the whole Patreon Subscription Thingie, you can still buy cool comics directly from the TORC Press Online Store at http://www.torcpress.com/store/.  Right now, The Hot Fudge Sundae Adventure Club (v2) #3 is available in the Online Store.  It's just been added, and it's way cool.  Here's the Explosive Cover:

So, what's it about?  Well, Null Vizor, the evil nihilist that was last seen laying waste to the 8th Dimension in HFSAC (v1) #24, has used a dark ritual to create a monstrous Armageddon Titan.  This towering horror feeds on death and destruction, and once it is fully grown it will have the power to destroy entire planets.  Needless to say, our Hot Fudge Heroes (and pretty much everyone else) have to dive in and do battle to bring the Titan down!

This issue is my rather blatant homage to Tom Scioli's "Transformers vs. GIJoe", as it is very fast paced, very plot driven, completely crazy, and loaded to the brim with character cameos.  Just about everyone from the new TORC Press Era can be found in this issue, from the full HFSAC roster to the Waterbearers to the Order of the Eye to Zarathon, and even brand new characters like Butterfly and Tsao.  It's an issue I'm really proud of.

Here's some Images:

Heh.  I like that one.  Here's another.

Crazy, right?

Anyway, it's HFSAC #3, it's 24 Pages in Full Color, and it's $4 plus $1.50 S&H.
