Bunny. Bunny.

Hey.  Looks like I'm starting to back into my groove a little.  We've got a new page of Pulp Horrorshow: DirtTown up for your viewing pleasure at http://www.torcpress.com/ph1-10.html.  This week's page is creepy and odd and has nothing to do with anything.  That's just what happened on that page.  I can't explain it.

Rested Up and Ready to Rumble

Whew.  After slugging it out on the road last weekend and with a bunch of things going on in my personal life, I've been a little behind the 8 Ball TORC Press-wise, lately.  I missed last week's Page of SDF, which I feel crummy about.  Still, I got the Page up and running at:  http://www.torcpress.com/sdf2-7.html.  Page 7 gives us a quick glimpse of some lesser bad guys, as well as a little bit of geography of the area.  There's an extended Notes section on this page as well.

Other than that, in case I didn't Blog about it earlier, there's another Ugly Page of Pulp Horrorshow: DirtTown up and running at:  http://www.torcpress.com/ph1-9.html.  It's actually a pretty interesting page, as it fully demonstrates the new TORC Press Earth now that it's under Ortex's control.  In addition, it gives us a little bit of history on Sally Mander and Razorfish.  So that's nice.

My next show is Project Comicon in St. Louis, MO on June 9-10, 2012.  I'm pretty excited because this show is basically in my back yard (and, yes, I'm aware of how ridiculous it is for my backyard to be 2 Hours Away....Whatever).  With the show only two weeks away, I probably won't have time to get anything new up and running, but then again, I'm still promoting books that I haven't even put online yet, so there's that.

I've been going a lot slower lately, but I don't really mind.  What's the fun in killing myself, anyway?

Post MCBA Stuff

First off, a big old thanks to everyone that came out and supported TORC Press at the 2012 MCBA SpringCon.  Hope you enjoyed the comics!  Also, I'd also like to take a moment to acknowledge my Tablemate for the weekend, John Hoban, who does an excellent comic called "Apocalypse City".  You can check him out on Facebook, either under his name or under "Apocalypse City".  He's a cool guy.

Other than that, the combination of the time lost to travel and everything else going on has put me behind the 8 Ball pretty good.  I'm not making any guarantees, but hopefully I will have the next pages of SDF and Pulp Horrorshow up before the end of the week.  And if I don't?  Eh.  It's not like the world's gonna come to an end, right?

On the Road Again...

Yep, it's just like Willie Nelson said.  I am indeed on the Road Again.

I'm loading up my tattered black back pack and filling up my beat up black car and putting on my dirty black hat, and hitting the road for St. Paul, MN for the 2012 MCBA SpringCon.  I'll be there both days, hawking my wares and doing my best to make an honest buck.  This time out I've got Comix, Prints, and T-Shirts for sale.  We'll see how things go.  In the meantime, details on the show can be found at http://midwestcomicbook.com/

10 to 11 hours on the road.  Dunno why Willie was so excited about it...

New DirtTown

It's Wednesday, so it's time for another edition of our primitive, ugly webcomic, "Pulp Horrorshow: DirtTown".  Today's page can be viewed at:  http://www.torcpress.com/ph1-8.html, and features an appearance by the small band of anti-Ortex rebels from a few pages back.

Other than that, once again I will be at the Minnesota SpringCon this weekend.  Head to http://midwestcomicbook.com/ for more info.

New SDF, Minnesota Show, and other biz

Running a little behind on SDF today, due to a big weekend full of movies and wings and Mother's Day Festivities.  Still, I did my thing I do, and the new page of SDF is up for viewing over at http://www.torcpress.com/sdf2-6.html

In other news, I will be over at the Minnesota Spring Con this weekend in St. Paul, MN.  Details at http://midwestcomicbook.com/.

Other than that, I'm plugging away on various projects.  I'll put the print edition of SDF 1 online for Sale next week after I get home.

Ugly Comix Wednesday

We've got a new page of Pulp Horrorshow: DirtTown up for viewing over on the main site at:  http://www.torcpress.com/ph1-7.html.  It's a sad little emo page with a surprise guest star snuck in for good measure.

That's really all I've got to talk about this morning.  I wanna go back to bed, but someone's gotta stack some lumber.

Post FCBD, New SDF, Next Con

A big thanks to everyone that came out and supported TORC Press at the 2012 Free Comic Day Event at Comic Quest in Evansville, IN!  Also, thanks to my pal Boolah for hanging out and helping out for part of the day.  It's a lot easier to make sketches when you've got someone to man the table while you're drawing, so thanks for that, amigo.  Also, a huge thanks to COMIC QUEST in Evansville, In for hosting such a bang up event in the first place.  Bravo!

A new page of SDF is up over at:  http://www.torcpress.com/sdf2-5.html.  There's some seriousness craziness on Page 5, so get ready for that.

Other than that, we've got one more event this month, the MCBA SpringCon in St. Paul, MN is May 19-20.  I'll be making the long trek up north to sell comix and check in with my pal Shafe.  Should be fun.

Feeling (a little) Better

After spending the last week and few days feeling absolutely rotten, today I just feel somewhat crummy.  So that's an improvement.  If my status is upgraded to "good enough", then I'll be rip-raring to go for Free Comic Book Day at Comic Quest in Evansville, IN on Saturday.  Here's hoping.

In the meantime, we've got a new page of SDF (with an interesting little story twist) up at:  http://www.torcpress.com/sdf2-4.html.  There's a new Uglyugly page of Pulp Horrorshow up at:  http://www.torcpress.com/ph1-6.html.  After some debate, I've decided to slow down a little, so from here on out, we'll only be doing one page of SDF a week, which will go up on Mondays.  I've just got too many irons in the fire right now to be driving myself crazy trying to work up two new webcomic pages every week.

In the Unfortunately Department, I have been forced to withdraw from the Derby City Comicon on June 30th, 2012.  I would like to state that Derby City is a great show, and comes highly recommended, and if you're in the area, you should check it out.  Unfortunately, I have discovered that a friend's wedding is that weekend, so I won't be able to attend.  I can't imagine this will inconvenience anyone, but if it does, I apologize.  You can check out Derby City online at:  http://www.derbycitycomiccon.com/.
