Cons & a Poll

Whew.  Crazy days.

I keep forgetting to hype my upcoming shows, so now I'm gonna hype my upcoming shows.  This weekend, I will be at Nerdcon in Robinson, IL.  Here's a Link to their Facebook Site:  https://www.facebook.com/NerdDayCrawfordCounty.  I'll be there starting at 9am, and I'll hang out until who knows.

One week later, I will be at my Most Favorite Show in the Whole Wide World, SPACE, the Small Press Alternative Comics Expo, in Columbus, OH.  So, yeah, July 18 & 19 I'll be doing my thing at my Favorite Show surrounded by other hardworking Small Press Comic Creators, some of whom I have managed to become friendly with despite my Introverted Nature.  If you are at the show, I recommend you stop by my Table (Table W-09), Buy some comics, and spend about fifteen minutes or more talking to me about Jack Kirby or David Lynch.  Seriously, you don't even have to buy comics, you can just hang and talk about Jack Kirby.  I'm not even joking.  Then when you're done talking about stuff Jack Kirby and buying my cool comics, make sure to stop by my neighbor's table and pick up copies of their book, the Dutchy Digest.  Anyway, here's info on the show:  http://www.backporchcomics.com/space.htm.

Lastly, It's Poll Time!  That's right, I'm gonna continue to do these Polls until someone actually responds to one of these.  Anyway, back in June I was supposed to get to work on assembling the Bad Rapture Trade Paperback Collection.  Bad Rapture, of course, was our really killer cross over.  I was originally gonna run a Kickstarter for it, but since I already have a Crowdfunding thing going (See Patreon above), I thought it would be gross to do another Crowdfunding thing.  Anyway, June was crazy (Public appearances, baby, engagement party, alien abduction), so Bad Rapture got pushed to the backburner.  As much as I hate to say it, assembling a Trade Paperback takes a lot of time, effort, and money, none of which I possess in great quantities right now.  I would like to collect Bad Rapture in TPB form sometime, and I know my Writing Partner REALLY wants the book to be assembled as well,  so it's Poll Time!  How much of a priority should I make a Bad Rapture Collection?  If there's anyone out there that wants to see Bad Rapture Collected and would like to, y'know, pay money for it, contact me either here on the Blog or in the TORC Press Facebook or my personal Facebook or you can e-mail me at cactusfnjoe@hotmail.com.  If TEN people give me a heads up on this by the end of the month, I'll put Bad Rapture on my Fasttrack Priority List.  If not, I'll put it off until next year.  So there you go.

Prometheon the Firebringer!  It is a Mad Cosmic Trip, and a throwback to the utterly bizarre comics I used to create.

Cactus Joe & Friends:  While investigating the remains of a destroyed Spaceship, Cactus Joe the Clown falls into a deadly Ortex Trap, and it's up to Tei Harlequin and Pengy Penguin to save the day.

Jovio of Jupiter:  Jovio, a young creature from Jupiter, is out exploring, when his whole world turns upside down.  This story refers back to events from HFSAC (v2) #1.

Tsao:  Tsao, who was briefly introduced in Pulp Horrorshow Volume 4 Special, crashlands on Jupiter and is near death, when he hears a mysterious voice in the desert.
