New Comics, New Patreon Stuff

Things are starting to level off a little.  I'm pretty far along on HFSAC #2, and I've added some new stuff to the Online Store at http://www.torcpress.com/store/.  I've also uploaded some of the pages to HFSAC #2 and Cosmic Pulp #1 to the Patreon site at https://www.patreon.com/torcpress?ty=h.  Here's a Preview Image from HFSAC #2:

I like this shot.  Tei Harlequin hasn't gotten a lot of Action Time in her various appearances, so it's pretty cool to see her all fired up.  It's also kinda neat she's doing the old "Super-Skrull Routine".

Over in the Online Store we've added two more of our "Lost Comics".  Way back when, when I was doing the Original SDF, I completed an entire two issue story arc called "SDF: Cyclops".  Due to personal reasons, the comic was never actually published.  It was a pretty good story, and since I've been doing a little bit of catch-up on old stories lately, I thought now was a good time to put the books in print.  Anyway, both issues are available in the Online Store for $2.50 plus $1.00 S&H apiece.  The Story is pretty simple, Old One Eye sets a deadly trap for the Clown, violence ensues.  It's good stuff.

Here's the cover to Issue 1:

And Issue 2:

Like I mentioned above, I'm adding new content to the Patreon site when I can.  You can get unlimited access to the Patreon Site for only a $1 a month, and you can help support TORC Press.  That's pretty cool, right?

New Stuff

Heyo.  I've got some new stuff floating around.

First off, if you're a Patron on the Patreon (www.patreon.com/torcpress), and you're donating a Buck or more, you can check out my comics online before they see print.  I've added a new page of both Cosmic Pulp #1 and the Hot Fudge Sundae Adventure Club (v2) #2.  Here's some preview images:

HFSAC v2 #1 Page 4.

Cosmic Pulp #1 Page 3.  It's a weird page, even by my standards.

Other than that, I've been trying to fill in some of the gaps in my Continuity, and to bring to press some of the books I've finished but never printed.  One of those books is Clown & Penguin #0.  Here's the cover:

It's 28 pages in Black and White for $2.50 plus $1.00 S&H.  The story features the first actual meeting between Cactus Joe/Pengy Penguin and OMNICHRONUS.  It also features the terror of the Deathbringer.  This is actually one of the most pivotal stories in TORC Press history, which is ironic, considering I never actually published it.

Other than that, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna hit TORC Press Comic #150 sometime in another year or two.  Trying to decide what to do about that.

Everything

Jeez, where do I start?  I am so exhausted right now, so bear with me.  Bear?  Bare?  Anyway...

First off, my Little Brother's Daughter was born yesterday at 6am.  Little Hazel Anne Morris has been born into this crazy world.  I've held her.  It's crazy.  I'm a happy dude.

Second off, I will be doing a public appearance/signing/thingie at Scrolls & Scribes in Crawfordsville, IN this Friday, June 12th from 1pm until I have no idea.  Stop by, buy some comics, and yack it up with me.

Third off, if you're a Subscriber on Patreon, you'll be getting a neato little mini-poster.  If you're not a subscriber, and you dig the poster anyway, you can buy the full size 11" X 17" version of the poster for $10 over at http://www.torcpress.com/store/.  I should probably show the poster now:

I haven't really talked about the Poster much, so while I'm goofy, let's ramble about it.  It's a Map of the Solar System, with most of the Major Players in the HFSAC Epic.  Here's the Planetary Rundown:

Mercury-- Mercury is controlled by the Ortex Corporation, but is actually ruled over by the Demon Lord Zarathon (pictured in the photo).

Venus-- I dumped this one into the corner because I've actually got nothing for this planet.

Earth-- Property of the Ortex Corporation, this once green planet is now a gruesome Factory Planet of fire and smog and concrete.  Pictured in the photo is the Deathbringer, CEO of the Ortex Corporation and Ruler of the Earth.

Mars-- The Red Planet was originally a pretty laid back place full of light green skinned aliens.  Then the Crimson Empire showed up and took over the planet, turning the native populace into slaves.  Pictured in the Photo is the Leader of the Crimson Empire and the Ruler of Mars, the Crimson Robe (whose true identity you know if you read Cosmic Love #4 way back when).

Jupiter-- The Hot Fudge Sundae Adventure Club don't actually live on Jupiter, they actually live on an artificial satellite in orbit around Jupiter.  But let's not split hairs, shall we?  I needed to put someone on Jupiter.  Pictured in the photo are Cactus Joe the Clown, Pengy Penguin, and Tei Harlequin of course.

Saturn-- We're beginning to study Saturn over in our other comic "Cosmic Pulp" #1.  At the end of the first issue, we'll be introduced to the guy in the picture.  Until then, consider this a sneak peek.

Uranus-- Uranus is also tucked into a corner because there's not a major character based out of there.  The tentacles hint at the Squid-like denizens of the planet.

Neptune-- OMNICHRONUS himself has parked his massive Worldship in an irregular orbit around Neptune.  In addition, the Order of the Eye, led by Darkwatcher (the guy in the hooded robe), is based on Neptune.  The Waterbearers (represented by the guy in the iron mask) are led by Proteus Platypus (pictured).  They are not based on Neptune, their actual base is in the Asteroid Belt, but since I didn't feel like cramming the Asteroid Belt into the drawing, they got crammed into Neptune as well to represent the loose confederation of the groups associated with OMNICHRONUS.  That big chicken guy... we'll see more of him in HFSAC (v2) #2 & 3.

Pluto-- Still a planet!  I thought it would be funny to draw a tiny Pluto all by itself.  Anyway, the Omni-Monks are based out of Pluto, which is what the little guy in the hood represents.

That Pink Guy-- We'll see this guy in HFSAC (v2) #2.  He represents the people that don't quite fall into any other catagory, and are just kind of caught in the middle of the War.

Not Pictured-- The Mercenary Union, partially because I'm still developing the idea, and partially because they don't have a planet they're based out of.
