Here We Go Again

So, here we go again. I had a blog on this blogspot thingie. Then I got a myspace, and I tried to run both blogs. That didn't work out so good. The original blog got lost, and I did the myspace blog exclusively for awhile. Anyway, I'm trying to tap into some new potential markets and all of that nonsense, so I thought I would revive this blog. So I suppose an introduction is in order.

My name is Joseph Morris. I'm a 32 year old dude from the Dead Center of Nowhere in Clay City, IL. I make comics. My tiny, small press comix company is called TORC Press. I also eat tacos. Lots of tacos.

There's not much to me beyond that. No wife, no girlfriend, no kids. I pay the bills by working in my family's sawmill. I wear a fedora, have since I was a teenager. I wear flannel shirts in winter and hawaiian shirts in summer. The only shoes I ever wear in public are red canvas Chuck Taylor All Stars.

The point of this blog is for me to yammer about and promote my comics. Speaking of which...

My current flagship book is called "The Hot Fudge Sundae Adventure Club". Odd name, huh? I like odd names. It's an odd book about a group of reckless adventures who brave the wildest parts of not only our planet, but any darn planet they feel like traveling to. Riding in the belly of their massive, intergalactic Space Whale, Watoosi, our gang of unconventional heroes have fought giant sea monsters, alien robots, ghosts, spider goblins, and insane cultists in their perpetual pursuit of the impossible. The team's roster consists of:

Cactus Joe the Clown- The Unkillable Clown faced Killing Machine and leader of the Club. Walking death with a laugh.

Pengy Penguin- A mute, blue, tap dancing penguin, and Cactus Joe's perpetual companion and best friend. A modest genius.

Los Super Hip Bros- A pair of goofy weirdos who love to dance.

El Exclamation Point!- The two fisted, masked, metaphysical detective! He punches people in the face!

Agent '?'- A mysterious, armored, hi-tech secret agent and the only female member of the club. In a group of reckless weirdos, she's the level headed brains of the outfit.

I'm six issues deep into the series. We'll talk some more about it later.

I'm hungry. Think I'll grab a taco.
