After having absolutely no room in the barreling narrative to check in on the Med Tent and the Horrible Miracle of Birth last issue, this issue we don't have as many characters left alive, so we've got a little space to pop in and see how things are going with Cheryl, Octopus Jones, and Doc Brummer. Unfortunately, things are not going well. Which is pretty much par for the course with this crossover.
