There are times when I feel down. Bummed out, y'know? I sometimes feel like I'm getting nowhere with this whole comic thing, like it's a dead end, and I'm wasting my time. I feel like I'm never gonna find my audience, that things are never gonna click. Every so often I contemplate giving up and calling it quits.
Then I draw a page like this, and I get really, really happy. Comix are a beautiful thing, and I am ecstatic to be making them.
